I first met Paul when I was having issues with my Jaguar XF several years ago. He and his people not only knew the cars they worked on, but they went above and beyond to help and provide advice on how to run and maintain the cars. He has now worked on two of my Jaguars, and we bought a smaller car from him several years ago, which has proved more reliable than many of a similar age. I would always recommend Paul and his businesses, and he is a credit to the local area.

This is a jolly good company with Paul and his great knowledgeable team that know how to look after my Jaguars. Having two Jags I rely on JAGtechnic to keep them both running to perfection. Nothing has been too much trouble for them. Having previously taken my Jags to other garages the service from JAGtechnic has easily outweighed my past experiences. In fact, JAGtechnic managed to fix my convertible roof problem that another Jag garage could not fix. Prices are very reasonable compared to some other garages and I highly recommend them.

l would like say a big thank you to you and your team for the help you gave me with the post purchase inspection, advice and the very professional work carried out to my XKR-S.

I realised there were some very difficult issues to attend to not to mention the Alcon brakes and obtaining the factory settings for the geometry settings for the wheels. Which all took time and effort to obtain and I am sure would have put a lot of people off.

Having you look after my XKR-S and previous vehicles I would have no hesitation in recommending you to anybody wanting a truly honest, friendly and professional job carried out.

Paul, it really does show the breadth of work you do, and the quality. It is, as you say, all but brand new. I was amazed at how well the interior had come up, and the door casings look spectacular. I really cant wait to drive it to really get the feel of what you guys have done. Wheels looked exactly right on the car, the paint work is a sensation and the attention to detail definitive., brings back those heady days of Jaguar before the 'change'!!! Rita and I have known Paul Chip-Smith for about 6 months and we have been extremely pleased with both Paul himself and the way he runs JAGtechnic. Paul initially helped us after we had purchased a 2003 Jaguar XK8 that had some quality issues, and which we later returned to the seller on Paul's advice.

He later helped us not only find a "˜new' 2006 Jaguar XK with which we are very pleased, but also inspected the car prior to purchase and advised us of items that required attention. We have found him to be very honest, professional, and above all a keen Jaguar enthusiast. The facilities at JAGtechnic are very clean and modern, with the latest computer diagnostics and mechanical capabilities, and his associates are knowledgeable and always extremely helpful.

It is rather nice to receive the personal attention of a small independent Jaguar dealer like JAGtechnic rather than the impersonal treatment that sometimes accompanies larger organisations. We find the level of attention to detail to be very high, the level of service to be Jaguar level or above, and we intend to be customers of JAGtechnic for many years to come.

Today I 'dodged a bullet' and my faith in decent trades folk is restored!!!
Had loads of error messages and a massive red-light appear of the dashboard of the car last night "DPF full".... Looking on line it would appear that the remedy was a replacement DPF for circa £2k. Also the tyre pressure sensor alerts were all going mad. £1000 to replace them all. I ring the Jaguar dealer I bought it from and they told me to get the car 'recovered' to them. They couldn't start look at it until end of next week and there was no courtesy car until 27th Sept. For the initial diagnostic it would cost £150+vat then whatever was necessary on top. Rubbish and (worryingly) a likely bill in excess of £3k.
I then call JAGtechnic of Eastbourne. They shifted a few things around, organised a courtesy car and asked me to get the car to them ASAP. On arrival they made me a drink and did the diagnostic. They reset everything and all the alerts disappeared. They reset he tyre pressures and analysed the DPF. They told me to do a 'normal' regeneration of the DPF - that was all that was required. I had another couple of issues that they fixed there and then (software based) The car was in there for a couple of hours. It is now perfect again.
My bill from them £40.00.
Great service and clearly not out to rip people off...
Anyone with a Jag or Land Rover may want to give them a try??

Bought a 2003 Xkr convertible from a dealer in Sandy, it looked great but as an insurance I luckily took it to JAGtechnic to give it the once over. It turned out to have been bodge welded and needing in the region of £5 - £6000 of refurbishment.
I promptly returned it to the dealer and bought a geogeous 2002 XKR in silver from Paul and a lot of our friends have truly admired this very fine example.
In short we came to JAG Technic following a friends recommendation that this was a honest business with great experience and very high standards and lucky we did.

New customer, having only used main dealers in the past I was a little apprehensive about using an independent specialist to take care of my 3 year old Jaguar. Having spent a lot of time researching Jagtechnic and speaking to existing customers I was pleasantly surprised by the level and service and friendliness of the staff. The car needed a couple of additional repairs, which had been advised by the main dealer, my surprise came when I was quoted for the exact same repair by Jagtechnic, they were £180 cheaper, approximately 40% less than the main dealer. Well done Jagtechnic, very, very happy customer. Would recommend to anyone, especially those using main dealers.
