Please assemble before 9am at Fort Fun to receive your entry pass. Postcode for use with a satnav to Fort Fun is BN22 7LU. Please don’t be late as we shall set off in the Cavalcade from Fort Fun between 9.15am and 9.30am. When we arrive at the site we shall be directed by marshals - hence the need for you to display the entry pass on the windscreen.  The organisers have asked us to remind you that cars are expected to remain on site until 5pm.  Don’t forget to bring your chairs and coffee. Event commemorative plaques will be available from the organisers’ tent on the lower lawns. Cars left on site will be at owners’ risk.

West Sussex JEC - Wednesday 15th July – Club Night – at Tottington Manor (off the A2037 on the road to Edburton) BN5 9LJ meet from 7.30pm, talk from 8.15pm.  Former TWR Jaguar Marketing Director Richard West will be speaking on his experiences with TWR and Motor Racing.  Richard’s career also includes a highly successful career in Formula 1 with McLaren, Arrows and Williams working with the likes of Schumacher, Senna, Lauda, Hill, Prost and Mansell to name but a few.  Today he is a professional speaker and business author, so you can be assured of a great night of Jaguar and motorsport insights.  Even if you’re not a fan of motorsport, having heard a highly entertaining and informative talk at the National Club AGMs in 2018 and 2019, this will be an evening you should not miss.  To cover expenses, we will be asking for a £5 donation per person.

No booking required, gates open to Jaguars and Daimlers at 10.30am until noon.  Event closes at 4.30pm.

Sunday 16th August - Portsmouth Regional Day at Weald and Downland Museum at Singleton PO18 0EU.  Entrance from 10.00am to 1pm.  Please note that exiting whilst visitors are still arriving will be difficult due to access safety issues.  For people from West Sussex Region who would like to drive in and park together at the event, we will meet at the Triangle Car Park at Goodwood, PO18 0PT and will leave here at 9.30am.  The postcode will take you to a road junction just to the west of the car park, but the car park itself is on a tight bend just to the north of the horse racing course, and is on the outside of that bend.  From here, it is a few minutes to the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum, which is just before you get to the junction with the A286 at Singleton.

Sunday 6th September – Classics in the Town at Burgess Hill. The Weald Classic Vehicle Club is planning for their 2020 show held in the centre of Burgess Hill and showcasing a range of classic vehicles.  They are looking for a range of vehicles from 1900 and a variety of styles from veteran to current performance machines.  Previously there have been over 100 cars, motorcycles and commercials and would like to continue this tradition of variety.  If you’re interested, please contact events.wcvc@gmail.com
